January 2015: New Book, Chapter 1

Happy New Year! I began 2015 far from the River City down in Charleston, South Carolina with two of my roommates and three of our friends at a dance lounge surrounded by dozens of people that I hopefully will never see again. My midnight kiss came in the form of several kissy-face emoticons and I’m okay with that. :-*

I love this time of year. I always feel like it’s a new chance to begin again though you can really do that any day. I love to erase the pain and disappointment of the year gone by and hope for good things to come in the new year. Usually I am eager to leave the old year behind.

But this year it was different. While I am eager to see what 2015 holds for me and what new stories will be written in my book of life, I cannot forget the lessons 2014 left me with. 2014 was an amazing year, definitely one of my best. I learned a lot, went on many adventures, met some people that I hope will be characters in this story for a long time to come and took some chances. I learned a lot about myself.

So in 2015, I’m looking to top that. To build upon the journey that was started in the previous year and do so much more.

Long Story Short: 2015 – I hope you’re ready to keep up with this story!
